Amy Kayda, MS, LPC


Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a M.S. in Creative Arts Therapy. She has a specialization in treating eating disorders and is certified in Family Based Treatment (FBT) for the treatment of eating disorders in the pediatric and adolescent population.   FBT is evidence based treatment.  Amy has training in supportive psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy interventions, Internal Family systems therapy and mindfulness based interventions.  Amy uses an eclectic approach to treatment and tailors the sessions to the need of the individual.  She is collaborative and strength based and believes that feeling empowered as an individual is the key to wellness.   Amy is a level 1 Certified Little Flower Yoga Teacher and provides private and group yoga sessions for children and adolescents that incorporate self-awareness, tools for emotional regulation and relaxation and opportunities for creative self-expression.
